Surya Shakti is a complete process, which is largely physical in nature. It is a dynamic form of the Sun Salutation which is an ancient yogic practice with a powerful sequence of 18 postures. If you do 108 cycles of Surya Shakti, it will make you fit and you will not need any other form of exercise.
It builds the physical body making the sinews and ligaments of your body strong. In Yoga, we give importance to the sinews that hold the skeletal system and the whole body together. When we do any yogic practice, which is physical in nature, the focus is mainly to strengthen those, not to pump up your muscles. Strengthening the sinews of the body is what will endure for a long time and keep you well. Surya Shakti does this in a tremendous way.
When we say Surya, we are talking about the Sun which is the basic powerhouse of the planet. Life on the planet is solar powered, including human system. Surya Shakti is a way of using that energy. It does wonders for your health, as well as your physical and mental wellbeing.

Meet Your Teacher - Jordan Montagner
I’m Jordan, a Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher trained by Sadhguru Gurukulum in Coimbatore, India over an intense but beautiful five-month period.
Throughout my life, I’ve always been searching for something more. I explored various practices and teachings, but none that touched me as profoundly as the ancient yogic sciences offered by Sadhguru.
This journey led me to shift from an unhealthy lifestyle marked by binge drinking, smoking, and anxiety to a more fulfilling way of living. Implementing these yogic practices allowed me to drop these habits with ease and embrace a healthier and more meaningful way of being.
In addition to my spiritual journey, I’ve always been passionate about optimising my body and mind. This pursuit was fueled by a love for the beautiful game of soccer and my professional career as a CPA Accountant.
These yogic tools and practices have increased my energy levels, strengthened my system, and improved my focus and the way I respond in challenging situations. It’s assisted me in playing soccer at a semi-professional level for most of my adult life, as well as helping to manage and grow a successful technology business.
When I realised how powerful these yogic tools were I knew I had to offer and share it with anyone who was willing. I’m hoping they can inspire your own journey as much as they have mine.
